I have far more admiration for those people who help out...

I have far more admiration for those people who help out disadvantaged, sick or wounded animals etc. Genuine contributors to a better world, who go about their business with a minimum of fuss.

As for heros....to me, they are the people who put their life on the line to help others, without looking for anything in return. Usually ordinary folk, caught in extrordinary circumstances.

Jessica Watson did well in her achievement, but today was nothing more than a three ring circus. What would have the reaction been if she had been lost at sea?
