white and very anglo saxon looking. the proof is when one drives past a church, there is a jesus nailed to a cross - and he looks like an anglo saxon with long hair.
being tall and anglosaxon, then he would have stood out from the small dark skinned, big nosed locals - thus easy to spot as the messiah.
santa - off course he is white - but in some countries he has a black helper. maybe the black helper is the apprentice, and will take over when the white santa retires
