Everything that exists in this physical realm is the product of Creation.
Science is the study of the substance of the physical realm, thus science is the pure study of Creation. The natural laws, the chemical, physical, biological interactions, the realities of life and heavenly bodies are all aspects of the ongoing process of Creation, so while there may be some small element of faith in science, generally it is an amoral study of the reality we are part of. Creation, that is physical reality, needs no extra layer of miracles placed upon it, everything is already a miracle.
How then can science be the oil to your water. If it is then somebody has made a really grave error of understanding. Religion and science must be in harmony, they can not be otherwise.
Science has proven up the entire world you live in. I think Einstein's theories will be okay, so don't worry about them too much.
As for proving the content of the Bible, firstly we must understand that the Bible is a relative truth, not an absolute truth. There will always be more to know about God and one's spiritual path. The Bible is a spiritual work, it deals with developing the human spirit universally so that we might have heaven on earth, not literally, not absolutely, but we are to strive for global unity, religious unity, equality of the sexes, freedom from prejudice, an equitable share of the earth's resources for everybody, universal education for all, freedom from war via consultative processes rather than conflict as a solution, limits to extremes of wealth and poverty, etc.
The only time Biblical truths conflict with scientific truths is when Biblical truths are errors of understanding, because there is only one truth and both science and religion are bound by it.
