The reference being that there is a relationship between Buddhism and the workings of the mind. I stand by that.

Nor does this conflict with the fact that other religions and philosophies relate to mind/consciousness. It's not one or the other.

Buddhism in particular deals with phenomena such as desire and fear, lust and avarice and how to transcend these and achieve enlightenment.

This is in contrast to Christianity, for example, which teaches salvation through faith or the grace of god or predestination, depending on which verses you read.

Hence Buddhism is more a philosophy of mind than Christianity, by the given definitions.
