    You are equivocating. Salvation by faith is not at all identical, or comparable, to the Buddhist use of the word.

    Nor is everything that Buddhism teaches supported by evidence. It doesn't have the cornerstone on truth. But that's not the point, that being, Buddhism does not teach salvation or enlightenment through the grace and power of God, therefore, despite using the word 'faith, the word is not used in the same context as Christianity and other Abrahamic religions.

    The worldviews of Buddhism and Christianity are not comparable, despite the references to 'faith.'
