    I clearly said that the use, or mistranslation of the word 'jealousy' where 'zeal' or 'passion' would be more accurate, does nothing to reconcile the contradiction between a 'God of Love' (love not being jealous) with verses that obviously describe jealousy in it's true meaning. The mistranslations are there, but change nothing.

    For example:
    The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. << Psalm 145:9 >> as opposed to: Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers. Isaiah 14:21

    The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. << Psalm 145:9 >> as opposed to; He is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. Joshua 24:19

    The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. << Psalm 145:9 >> as opposed to; The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, ... their land shall be soaked with blood, ... For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance. Isaiah 34:7-8

    "God is love." - 1 John 4:8
    "Love is not jealous." - 1 Corinthians 13:4
    "God is jealous." - Exodus 20:5

    Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'' 1 Corinthians 13;

    Let's see how you wriggle out of that.....hope you realize that consulting with apologetic sites won't help you resolve the unresolvable contradictions between the verses and books of the 'Holy Book.'
