    Yeah, i am based in Tokyo, so it is my home airport. As such, my insurance wont help. No actual expenses to reimburse. Just plain old ordinary inconvenience. I have an alternative flight, but it is three days later. Refund by law? I would think you are right, but it took a lot of effort last time Jetstar cancelled one of my flights. And if you have never dealt with their customer care folk, i truly honestly hope you never have to. Probably the worst customer care group of any organization on the planet...except maybe ISIL.
