Looks like the strike is a great way for Jetstar to shed staff and remodel the business into a more competitive sustainable one.
Compared to other pilots especially in USA looks like pilots are overpaid. If they get better work elsewhere good luck to them and new pilots will have to be trained during the interim fall in supply.
Many flights are too expensive and costs must come down despite the efforts of MMT.
Can the case for ride share pilots be made?? Ride share might be more viable then pilots on the cheap like in USA and safer happier environment as well
