My wife was due to fly back to NSW after visiting my daughter for 2 weeks out of Launceston this morning having paid for the flight 6 weeks ago, but received a text and email at 4 pm yesterday that the flight had been cancelled due to operational activities. No offer of an alternate flight was made just money back.
On further investigation and 78 minutes on the phone before contact was made it turns out all the flights in March, April and May have been cancelled from Launceston blamed on the virus.
They may offer cheaper fares but their behaviour is beyond cheap to leave passengers stranded,on short notice, without offering an alternate flight is in my opinion as low as an airline can go.
