"Unearthed"?? Hardly! Well known and horrendous attacks on allies. There's more recent events as well, but, that being said, it's hardly a rock-solid Jewish argument to say that there is a time limit on "distant past" events we can reference.

Indeed, but not "generally", yes there is plenty of examples of Islamic radicals and terror. However, that phenomenon is widely discussed and recognised; not so censored in the same way that criticism of Jewish activity is hidden away. Further, many Jews feel quite happy to describe every Muslim as a crazy radical, no one really opposes them in the mainstream.
