Aha, Kismet, I have a relation to your two friends, a .40 S & W semi-auto pistol whose presence has been requested at a formal confiscation ceremony because of the calibre. Alas, only the barrel, slide and magazines will be surrendered, as the rest is being converted to .38 ( legal calibre) Super, with hitting power and ballistics far superior to the illegal .40 calibre.
