Perhaps Gillard doesn't know that Australia has a lot of uninhabitable land meaning we have less people per sq kilometre that they do in china when mentioning our higher per capita emissions.
I wonder if Gillard will also tell the viewers that China is the world's highest global emitter of co2 at around 25%. I would image she wouldn't let the dumb Aussies in on such a little secret.
And Australia emits a tiny 1.3% of global co2 emissions would likely be kept very quiet.
