By way of comparison , Exoma (EXE) announced a mega JV deal with one of China's latest Hongs (CNOOC) late last year , free carrying it thru $50m worth of shale and CSG drilling 2011/12 in Queensland plus CNOOC took a significant equity stake in the company.
Now Exoma is a well managed company with a well respected Board and share reg.
On announcement of the deal , the SP was 30c ... a month later it is 22c!
Point of relevance to CTP?? The 'Great White (yellow?) Hope may not yield any short term SP gains , if and when (more If than When imo) CTP can attract a partner to the 'middle of nowhere' and actually be able to work with them , then the market will assess this on its merits (Yawn?)
A CR by mid year is the only certainty here imo
