$10b over 4 years i.e. $2.5b p.a. is a drop in the bucker for the aged care sector which is presently funded $21b. I expect this $10b over 4 years will be solely for the home care sector.
The Grattan Institute recently released a report stating the aged care sector will need $9b p.a. additional funding to deliver the quality and scope expected by the Australian community.
I expect there will be more aged care funding announcements.
