jijhadi watso has further slashed his electricity bill ..
the latest electricity bill showed a consumption of 95.5kw (or 1.62 kw/day) and that was before taking into account watso's latest cost cutting jihad (jihadi watso lops electricity bills - not head lopping) ..
watso vaguely recalls posting some time ago - how he managed to cut his electricity usage .. but, basically buying new energy (ie electricity) saving devices.. namely:-
NEW FRIDGE(probably the biggest energy saver) .. new tv new microwave led lights induction cooktop..
for what it is worth, but watso discovered the radio - which was better than the tv - and also used a lot less electricity than the tv (not that the tv used that much anyway) ..
more recently watso rediscovered vacuum flask cooking (has posted about it on the food forum) .. where appropriate, vacuum flask cooking is energy saving, as well as convenient ..
and over the past few days, watso has managed to cut his,already low, led lighting costs - by a bit more ..
watso was surprised at how much light came from 2w, 230lum globe.. so the kitchen and the computer room - now have 2w globes (but also have a dual system - when more light, if required ) ...
