I'm guessing you value equity over merit = degree snobbery? You appear to be putting 4 years of uni school rote learning ahead of something most business owners have to learn in short order to be succesful. I'm not sure there's even a degree in Treasury, but for sure only a shallow small few of the 32 subjects would directly relate to the actual discipline.... that's how degrees are structured.

Regardless, we all know ministers just cherry pick the assortment of recomendations given them by closed shop carreer public servants who probably never even experienced a P&L with a 'Sales Revenue" column to worry about. They probably never experience the fear of the sack, of the employer going bust, etc...they just punctuate their boring tit beige lives with big spend of taxpayer & borrowed money, covet their PS medal like it has some value and laud themselves as genius by minicking someone elses practice in the UK civil service........am I wrong?
