in the 50/60/70/80s probably 1/10 people were born overseas and most were Europeans who hated communism. most elections LIBS/LNP won. Hawke won but he was right wing labor and all for the working man. brilliant man. i voted for him.

fast forward to 2023 and 1 in 3 people in australia were born overseas and majority 60/70% vote labor.

LIBS will never win again IMO we have to many immigrants and they sway left cause they love a good handout and they think labor will get them more money than libs.
