Labor deficits $8.4bn higher than Coalition's
Labor has outlined cumulative budget deficits over the next four years of $231.9bn – about $8.4bn higher than promised by the Coalition.
The deficits were $7.4bn higher than in the March budget, but the Coalition has saved $1 billion since then.
The Australian revealed earlier in the month Labor’s deficits would be up to $10bn higher than the Coalition.
