Something that may be worth considering given the context of the 'short' talk on this LYC forum. Investor Jim Rogers says that he was 'wiped out' in his younger years shorting six stocks. He says he had made a lot of money in traing and that he 'thought he was smart', 'I was cocky', and thought 'he knew it all' - then the stocks he had shorted kept rising and he nearly lost everything after getting big margin calls... Just throwing it out there...
