i never said it was a bottom, i said major crashes come completely out of left field, usually in the midst of a boom and not when interest rates in the US are at record lows and bad news is plentiful...

if you research 1929 and 1987 you will see that the charts literally fell off a cliff overnight. we may well grind lower over an extended period but i dont see anything as cataclysmic as what some are predicting.

oil is the main problem and is really what is pushing inflation. if oil cools off the genie should be put back in the bottle and things could be looking rosy again very quickly.
