Don't know anything about AHK's history and don't know if the following will have anything to do with AHK.
Have been researching a private company - JKO Mining Limited - who recently purchased the Deutsche Rohstoff AG Gold Mine/CIP Plant at Georgetown, Qld, for $16m along with several nearby tenements from PNN for $850k.
AHK director, Roger Jackson, is also CEO/Founder of JKO Mining:-

Straits has agreed to enter a short term, exclusive arrangement with Bracken Resources Pty Ltd. Under this arrangement, Bracken will have the right to complete its due diligence with a view to acquiring the Mine within 90 days. Bracken will pay non-refundable option fees of $1 million immediately, another $1 million after 45 days and $1 million on exercise, to continue this review. AHK mentioned last Qtr "The company is also actively exploring the potential to participate in gold mining opportunities in Australia with established JORC resources, in order to produce company revenues as soon as practicable"
AHK had around $1mio cash last Qtr, so not enough to take on anything like the above on their own - may have nothing to do with AHK.
