The Bible is a book, Bible means book, the capital B implies divinity.According to the Bible: The first section is said to be the Jewish section.The second the Christian.Christ was a Jew.The Jews asked the Romans(Italians) to crucify Christ,they obligued but denied responsibility. If you read the Jewish part you will find that God chose the Jews but they hardly ever obeyed God and eventually he punished them dispersing the few survivors over the world. Faith in God was the reason for salvation put forward in the Christian section of the Bible.But the faith would be demonstrated by doing good.Faith that does not produce good actions is said to be not really faith.The Devil is said to believe God exists but does not do good and therefore does not come up to the requirement of faith. There are many different ways of looking at the Bible and one day I believe God will reveal what He really meant by it. But Christ said the whole of the Jewish section was summed up as love God and secondly love people. Paul said love was patient,kind, kept no record of wrongs and was greater than faith and hope. The whole matter is really too hard I just want to go to Heaven, but later!
