SHIFT PROCESS CONTROL OPERATORS

The Monadelphous AnaeCo Joint Venture (JV) is seeking a number of experienced Shift Process Control Operators with a strong desire to enhance their skills and knowledge in the world's first AnaeCo™ Advanced Waste Treatment (AWT) Plant.
The AnaeCo™ AWT system incorporates a number of patented process technologies that provided an innovative solution for the treatment of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW); diverting up to 50% of waste from landfill by; recovering valuable recyclables, producing a rich organic fertiliser and generating enough renewable energy to power the entire process with surplus available for export.
These positions are offered on an initial temporary basis (up to 6 months) to assist the Monadelphous AnaeCo JV in completing the early stages of operations of the AWT Plant and then through to full operation processing capacity.
Reporting to the Shift Process Controller, your main duties and responsibilities include monitoring and controlling the overall process via the 800XA ABB Distributed Control System (DCS) and general operative tasks.
The successful candidate will possess the following essentials:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a process/production operator;
• Experience with the 800 XA ABB DCS;
• Experience in panel and field operating responsibilities;
• Permit administration and isolation;
• Experience reading and analysing P&ID’s;
• Experience in allied industries such as waste water, paper/pulp and food industry would be advantageous;
• Trade back ground would be advantageous;
• Self-motivated and good communication skills;
• Work in a team environment.
