Position overview
In this role, you will report to the Head of Systems Engineering and work in a diverse team, supporting the delivery of Redflow’s ongoing pipeline of projects. You will play a pivotal role in the organisation, creating, updating, and delivering all required documents and templates to ensure compliance with Redflow’s and applicable regulations and criteria.
You will collaborate with Redflow’s engineers and utilise the Microsoft Office software package for publication, editing and production.
Responsibilities
Create new and update existing integration manuals.
Manage and control standards and regulations database.
Drive documentation implementation culture within Redflow.
Development and implementation of document control policies.
Create new and update existing operation and maintenance manuals.
Create new and update existing installation and commissioning manuals.
Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and validity.
Support and assist with other departments’ documentation requirements.
Responsible for document control and ensuring compliance to document control and release process.
Create and update companies’ templates to improve efficiency and compliance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Establish key internal relationships throughout Redflow’s departments, including Redflow Thailand, interpreting engineering product specifications into customer-facing documents.
Essential skills
Experience writing technical documentation.
Ability to work with multiple disciplinary projects.
Stakeholder engagement and liaison skills at all levels.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships.
Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint.
Ability to prioritise, organise and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to compile, review and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.
Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision, adhering to deadlines.
Desired skills
Knowledge of 3D CAD packages – preferably CREO.
Previous experience in energy storage-related product development is highly regarded.
A Trade or Engineering background is preferred but not essential. Similar technical tertiary qualifications will also be considered. Previous experience working in an engineering environment is not required.
Experience in Technical Writer role - preferably within the Engineering / Manufacturing sectors.
