Seems to me that it's easy to work out in individuals who 'needs' support and who doesn't ------------- and also, more importantly - who will 'spend' when they have more income than really basic needs - meaning - if one has some discretionary spending potential
but, it's far harder to work out which businesses 'need it' or don't
so ---------- just stimulate individuals ---------- not businesses at all
make it that the only stimulus that business gets ------ remember - business doesn't have a heart of lungs or a liver -- it's an inanimate thing -
but, people inside businesses - including owners - are individuals - so - they get stimulus as does everyone else.
Now - there's two ways to do that - either income tested or not
for business owners who have shown very low personal incomes - then, they would receive stimulus -
if one combined stimulus with cracking down hard on the usage of business for personal reasons -------- meaning that bullshit business trips were taken as expenses - but, were really holidays -
then, we would have business owners having to take higher wages or salaries - to fund their lifestyles - hence - getting a higher tax income for gov. and also more GST and also -------- perhaps less stimulus cost if you have it income tested.
it's very very very clear from both Rudd and Morrison stimulus that the abuses come NOT from social welfare recipients - but, from actual businesses ------- who normally, interestingly enough - are Liberal supporters
who woulda thought - the very people who are anti social measures
