Information on enrolment advances held by LDC's from the Jobs for Families Child Care Package
'From July 1 2017:
Enrolment advances will no longer be paid.
Currently we recover advances as children leave care.
We will also recover any advances that have existed for four years or more.
Services can act now to manage the impact on their cash flow'.
Mark Johnson stated, in his last report that 75,000 children were enrolled in G8 centres, that would make the enrolment advance debt around $10.9m. The amount reported in their financials is $8.26m, perhaps G8 have followed some other centres and stopped claiming the enrolment advance.
