SORRY ..incorrect . This time Howard has completely missed his personal " calling" ..The " calling " has been loud and clear ..RETIRE ! There are some in the party who have a good understanding of this , however they missed their chance for a spill ..now , unfortunately Its all over .

Its too late for the liberals . Had they gone to the polls with a clear leadership platform they would have given that leader time to sell themselves to the electorate .Costello would have been the obvious choice , backed by a talented front bench , could have p*ssed off Abbot , promoted ( even further ) Turnbull , and have gone to the people with a fresh competant team .

Now you have " old news " Howard , trying to reinvent himself yet again , Its just too late . This guy will not go down in political History as some kind of " great " leader , he was extremely lucky to get there in the first place . Now the party has let " EGO " kick in and Howard has gone a term too long ,the party has not shown any form of progress , just Static and old time .
