To interpret that 5 percent of shareholders request an EGM as they are entitled to under the Act as an act of oppression is just ridiculous in the extreme!
The whole process gives ALL SHAREHOLDERS a chance to democratically decide on the matter in question.
Hardly Opression!
Perhaps those calling for the meeting using legal process to do so may have had the eye on the ball more closely than many others and have done us all a favour by focussing our attention on a possible misuse of our trust and dollars?
Once again I trust practical perceptions of people well above tricky legal interpretations from people who demonstrate lack of real world experience!
