.....Just listened to former Liberal leader John Hewson. He said Rudd was right, that climate change is above politics and is the great moral challenge of our time. He agrees that a price on carbon is needed.

.....It is a complex issue for ordinary people such as myself. However one must wonder that if even senior Liberals have such a belief there must be some credibility attached to it.

.....Those with a conscience and looking to the future of Australia and the planet and not short term politics in regard to this issue.

.....Abbott is all over the place on a number of issues and indeed it would be sad if his negativity were to prevail.

.....He is soft on the smoking issue. He is soft on accepting donations from the Tobacco industry.

.....He was dead set against paid parental leave but now wants to introduce a multi billion dollar tax so those on higher income can receive more.

.....He supported John Howards push for a price on carbon and now he doesnt.

.....He called the science of climate change "crap" and yet to con those concerned about climate change wants to spend tax billions on direct action that apparently serves to compensate the big polluters.
