political animals lose every time. If they win, they do it inspite of, rather than because of the fact that their "political animals."
Howard is mean piece of scum. Selfish, unimaginative, greedy, punitive (so long as it's not his own folk) highly destructive to others as well as to himself.
Such political animals know nothing of politics, at the heart of which is the citizenry which gives them their position. Political animals like Howard are excellent students of Macchiaveli who can teach people in State Power, only how to destroy enemies, not how to keep the State in good repair, which again, means having a happy and contented population.
This mean moron has done nothing but divide this country in the sharpest possible counterpoints and distinctions. People have now become totally diagonally opposed to each other instead of seeing, or bothering to look at each other's points of view, each other's pains, each other's pains.
If we are to use this creep as an example then we will all become "political animals" and not members of a society.
