. In the Nemesis doco various Libs were asked to give a one word description of Abbott. They came up with a range of terms including: Pugnacious, combative, relentless, determined and friendly. On the less complimentary side: Turnbull described him as negative and Wyatt Roy described him as an enigma. Abbott refused to appear on the program, the only ex PM across 30 years of this type of doco to refuse to appear. Abbott may well figure that the ABC is no friend of his. Maybe those describing him left out a part of his character: Paranoid. Was it a paranoid need to live in a constant state of conflict that prevented Abbott from making the transition from opposition to the nation's leader?
