We are aware of Mr Kaiser’s comments...he has never engaged with the Company on any level to discuss his thoughts/concerns.
Some high level comments which I hope will suffice:
All laterites have chromium, and our levels run lower than many other HPAL operations. The process to manage it are well understood and not complex.
We do not see any issues with chromite “attacking the resin”. This is completely without fact.
Chromium that is leached in the HPAL is precipitated out of solution in the partial neutralisation stage before the cRIP circuit (so it never gets near the ion exchange resins in any case)
Cr does not affect the performance of cRIP or the quality of our sulphate product."
