I see sudden bot activity. It may be analysts have done fresh comparisons across the renewables sector and recognise IFN's value.
The real driver will be corporate activity. What will RR & team do next? Flyers Creek, another battery, fresh big-turbine wind projects, refinance, despatch contracts, M&A. All of these are possible; any would kick the SP.
Quarterly production and revenue 31 Jan, HY financials 21 Feb. These may show the benefits and a revenue rise from Bonny Bess, though it could be a little early. Remember, Bonny Bess is small at 25Mw/50Mwh.
I note enthusiasm above for Solar + Batteries. They only get one premium discharge opportunity a day, where W + B gets two. Where would you put your battery?
Rather than buying old wind farms, I would prefer to see IFN build new with eg GE Halide X scale turbines - staggering efficiency gains have been made. See my earlier link to GE on the other thread.
