Yes the conservative right adherents lack even a smidgeon of compassion due to their extreme political tendencies and bias. Thankfully they are but a small minority.
I noticed that when John McCain was recently in Australia and presented to the Australian Press Club he was coherent and made a good speech. However later during the James Comey Senate hearing I listened to Mc Cain and immediately thought something is wrong as what he was saying was not coherent. We now have the explanation, brain tumours and he is to undergo surgery. I wish him well .
