Of course John McCain was constrained in the interests of the USA and sensible diplomatic discourse. At least you acknowledge that whereas those here that are so besotted with the lying bragging crudity that is Donald Trump rubbish anyone that offers criticism of this disgrace of a President.
The way some here consistently defend Trump and push the Putin barrow makes me wonder whether some are part of the Russian fake news operatives that are attempting to influence politics in democratic western countries. Senator John Mc Cain made it clear that is what is occurring. During the election campaign they were frenetic in their support of Trump and Putin and often referenced TV channel RT, ‘Russia Today' which is Russian govt owned and controlled.
