john phillips promotion

Im interested in the promotion of John Phillips to the role of CEO. Im finding it very difficult to make a tangible assessment on the strengths/weaknesses of Phillips vs. Cockcroft.

This is obviously important, as the strategic future of BUL now largely sits in the hands of John Phillips. Keen to gauge just how well Phillips rates as a potential achiever. I understand Peter Cockcroft was instrumental in introducing KOGAS and forging the relationship with BUL.

Does anyone know enough of the achievements (or otherwise) of these two guys to make a comparative assessment? Cheers Muzz
