As usual, Pilger puts his finger right on the point but the usual crowd of US policy sycophants here at HC will attempt to shout him down. What a pity all they can do is say..."Well, what should the US have done?" The answer is plain enough. The US should never have attempted to impose it's lust for cheap oil on ME nations by placing troops, training proxies such as Osama etc. The US have made their bed but sadly the rest of the world must lie on it....
