Perhaps the real truth is just just doesn't give a sh#t!
Here he is...CEO of a company which should be flying at 60,000 feet in this market and he makes a profit downgrade that was a disgrace as to its brevity and lack of detail...so the share price tanks...what does he do?
He sells shares in his own Superannuation Fund at the precise time when the share price is on the floor!
True...only 75,000 which realise perhaps the cost a Holden Statesman...but consider the facts here:
His own Superannuation Fund...which by definition cannot be illiquid and presumably has other assets (which it should according to the ATO)
Therefore he has his eyes on something else which represents better value. His eyes and his concern are certainly not on giving the market any heart for investing in his company!
Better value that RCR at a price not seen for sometime?
At the very least this guy qualifies for inclusion in the Top Ten Dumb Things Done By A CEO During 2008.
Please...somebody who has a PR background...get hold, of this philistine and teach him PR for CEO's 101.
