Pity he does not understand the concept of sportsmanship. A foul is a foul. Otherwise he shoud have used the Aussie excuse everytime they are caught losing. "Oh his grandmother died in 1862 and he's been feeling bad about it and was not 100% during the game".
Shame Australia Shame. For one when given the opportunity to play a truly internaitonal game and not an old colonial elitist sport, learn the idea of sportsmanship.
If refrees are making bad decisions then don't complain when it goes against you. Complain because the standard is bad. Then when it does go against you you have some credibility.
The sad part of this whole soccer episode is that Australian TV channels other than SBS grabbed each and every who re they could find tie them up with a drunken Yobbo then place them in front of a camera to shout the tired old Aussie slogans and behave like an AFL crowd. AFL is for the brain dead not soccer.
Aussies still find it hard to take a good wo g who understands and talk to them. Why? they cannot accept the already changed face of this place.
The only good thing to come out of it is that when discussing Aussie rules in Stuttgart and in Leipzig with Deutschwelle, the audience and the compare and his guests had a laugh and were so amused at the thought of these AUssies trying to tell them what a great game it was, then playing a dated video of an old Carlton Game with bashing and d ick pullers playing short sleeves heroes for $1,000 a week.
