The fact is Pokerface.....I am not sympathetic to Hicks at all, and that is basically where your opinion of my view falls apart.
If Howard and Bush are so disgusted and appalled by Hicks' actions, and the system would have us believe that their disgust is now understandable and justifiable, how can they expect we Australians to be happy with such a light sentence??
If that doesn't highlight the lies and hypocrisy that they have displayed throughout this case, then what does??
Let's not put words into other's mouths here......if Hicks had been given a fair trial at the beginning, you would not have heard a word from anyone about his treatment.
Sorry, but I don't stand for this sort of behaviour by governments.
And as for the Labour Party, that is all totally irrelevant to this case.
