first tanbreez and etm are not in competition tanbreez has a license to mine etm is probably a decade away
secondly they mostly produce different products etm light rare earths, zinc and uranium ;tanbreez light and heavy rare earths, zirconium, hafnium, tantalum, niobium, felspar arfvedsonite and possibly tungsten.( etm does have some of the more expensive heavy rare earths but as they are in a silicate mineral called eudialyte they will throw it out as it can not be recovered)
thirdly etm have said they will be selling concentrates to china while tanbreez REE are to go into north america( in fact the US state department is there again this week)
fourthly etm has about 98% of what it mines is waste as opposed to 3% for tanbree
in the case of the only competing material the light rare earths tanbreez has an off take for its production as does etm i believe

thus there is no competition except for local labour but tanbreez will get first pick
