And the conservative, Mr denison says...
September 2011 - For the reporting period ending June 2011
"One program that is nearing completion is the testing and evaluation under a Letter of Intent with an FMCG company which covers several commonly-used formulations. This was announced to the market in 2010. The Company is now in discussions with that FMCG company to consider the next stage of development."

October 2011
Global FMCG Company toSECURE ACCESS RIGHTS for Beauty Care
OBJ Limited is pleased to announce that a global FMCG company has commenced negotiations with the Company for a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for the development and commercialisation of new products
The question remaining imo is:
Was OBJ already "in discussions with the FMCG company to consider the next stage of development" before the end of the reporting period in June 2011 or in September?
Either way it suggests that the JDA was already being discussed well before it was announced on October 25 which must then lead us to consider the next question:
If the JDA discussions commenced back sometime in between June - september 2011 then what negotiations really commenced on October 25?
Negotiations for securing the License Access Rights as stated in the title of the announcement. Imo, the rest of the announcement was a throw off in regards to it being representitive in a past tense...
...as Glyn, imo also recently confirmed in his email reply to jase:
"Our announcements are intended to be factual in that they present the activities that have already occurred."
