Well picked up @randymac, only came across your post now.
Ultras are definitely worth keeping an eye on and for CCX the interest from BB reinforces how undervalued the shares could be long-term.
If what you are saying were to eventuate, for BB (and his team) it may be as simple as a comparison of potential upside versus downside risk from these levels.
i.e what sort of upside could be generated from a large CCX position from here medium-term versus his other investments like HomeCo?
I met with a highly regarded fund manager today and we spent the majority of the discussion talking about market pessimism and what the outcomes are historically for small companies in the 12 months proceeding share price ‘bottoms’… history shows us they are bloody superb.
Further to this, small caps already trade at a huge discount to Large caps which we also discussed today and a topic that many asset managers continue to reinforce to investors.
I will say it again , my belief is CCX has been way oversold and I am extremely positive about the potential return from here.
A 50%-75% return is 80-96c SP. Very feasible short to medium term..
