He has also had the DPI Licence for many years to grow his hemp outside. It became legal in 2008. I have lived in the region for decades, Nimbin is the grassroots capital of marihuana, I hope the money and business does come here, but I find this announcements misleading. There are many hurdles to jump to get the medical marijuana license.
