I think this is my pet peeve with Gillard. She repeats herself constantly in case we didn't hear her the second,third,fourth time etc.,. It is very patronizing. When Obama rang her after the flood, with commiserations she said President Obama umpteen times to make her point. Why doesn't somebody tell her as it is embarrassing.

Read in the paper Julias chief adviser Amanda Lampe resigned last week after coming back from paternity leave. Apparently she and her girlfriend have just had twins together. Maybe the new adviser will give her some tips on public speaking and elocution. Probably has already been discussed on here but I am out of the loop with posts.
