    the reason for the supplimentary statement is that proven reserves can only come from measured resources. As Res only has indcated resources then all of their reserves must be probable reserves. It wasn't clear from the resourcs upgrade what catagory the reserves were in as they were all lumped togther in a box that said proven/probable.

    from the statement "Until committed coal sales contracts are entered into, coal reserves will be classified as
    probable rather than proven." I would think it was the quality peramters that are not well enough understood to classify the resource as measured and hence proven. i.e. further work must be conducted to adequetly define the quality and saleability of the various grades of coal they hope to produce.
