I would think to be conservative the 1g/t is good.
about 6 months ago 'Midnight' mentioned a width of the deposit to be more like 100 m.
I somewhat agree with this.
Also there will unlikely be a depth of 50 m of mineralisation.... if there is 50 m depth.....then it would be gold
So lets use the figures:
500 m x 100 m x 25 m
I will use the dry density of sand + 15% (because there is likely sap rock and a grain size distribution a bit more random than brickies sand!) = 1.6 *1.15 = ~1.8t/m3
I also believe that the grade will be quite a lot higher than this. (2 - 3g/t). I know I said conservative is good but the continuity of good hits will probably bump this up.
So we have:
500 m x 100 m x 25 m x 1.8 = 2,250,000
Now I am going to x this by (0.025), 2.5 g/t......because I can!
= 56,250
Its a good beginning trust me. Shallow, high grade, mill next door!
Cant go wrong.
