Had a read of the quarterly yesterday and put it on my watchlist. Don't want to move funds out of other stocks at the moment so i will keep watch to see how it pans out.

Of particular interest to me is the large impact crater and the potential for Sudbury or Vretesford (is that spelling right?) type deposits. Both Sudbury and Vretesford are massive impact craters. It is now thought that the massive mineralisation in those craters (Subury has most of the worlds nickel and Vretesford has most of the richest gold mines in the world) are as a direct result of the impact/meteor - either through differentiation of the melt pool when it cools down, the massive hydrothermal action that results or from the meteor itself, which can contain up to 12-15% nickel (metallic meteors). Given that the meteors that created the Sudbury and Vretesford impact craters were all very large, ie. bigger than 10km - they potentially carried 10's of millions of tonnes of contained nickel.

And also historic drilling shows nickel mineralisation there from only a 4 hole program!!!

    Very interesting.

I have noticed a few companies pushing the impact crater theory recently - Impact Minerals, Galaxy Resources (2 impact craters), Resource & Investment.

Could provide a very interesting sideshow or the main show to the platinum.
