Warwick Grigor is a highly respected and experienced mining analyst, with an intimate knowledge of all market related aspects of the mining industry. He is a graduate of the Australian National University having completed degrees in law and economics. His association with mining commenced with a position in the finance department of Hamersley Iron, and from there he moved to Jacksons, Graham, Moore and Partners to become Australia's first specialist gold mining analyst. Having established Jacksons as a leading research stockbroker, Warwick left to be the founding research partner at Pembroke Securities and then the Senior Analyst at County NatWest Securities. He retired from County in 1991 to found Far East Capital Limited ("FEC") that was established as a specialist small mining company financier and corporate adviser. More recently FEC has been concentrating on the publication of independent mining research and investment activities. He does Uranium Sector Review report, which has been pretty comprehensive (though have not seen one for a little while as i have to wait til it reaches the public domain somehow)
However, I am aware of a couple of tiddlers he is/was involved with (HTM, MRO) that have fallen into a mire.

Perhaps 'market intelligence' is not the same thing as good relationhip with brokers and funds
