    Hahah 10% modest property growth. Sorry kincella, could you please rework your example with *cough* modest 20% stock market growth, I think you'll find the renter wins out. As we all know stock market outperforms property market (and it does most investment classes) over the long term.

    Kincella, regarding your doubling every 7 years (10% annual growth) being modest, just out of interest, do you think property prices have been doubling in London, for the last 200 years (or anywhere near that)?
